For UNIVERSAL listing, follow the same ordering instructions in the listing. Be sure to include the exact make and model of the watch from the box or the back of the watch case.
What color options do I have?ANYTHING YOU WANT!!! The pictures are examples only. You can choose any colors you want. It is impossible to show all the hundreds of colors paracord comes in. Basically, if you can think it or find it in a Crayon box I have or can get it! Just include at checkout.... We offer almost exclusively Atwood Rope products checkout the full line of paracord color options at https://atwoodrope.com/collections/550-paracord https://atwoodrope.com/collections/550-paracord choose any! You can also just screen shot the styles and colors and email after ordering with the order # saying "these are my choices".... We're easy.
These can be all one color or different colors, refer to listing descriptions or ask if you have any questions.
If I have messaged you about a specific design or color in the days or weeks before I order, should I still include it again in the order notes at checkout?
Yes!! I can't remember every conversation I have and then recognize an individual goofy user name when an order is made days or weeks later, haha. Always include your choices....

Always measure the circumference (around) of your actual bare wrist. I don't care what setting you usually wear your current factory or aftermarket band on. Use a measuring tape or a string or shoelace around the portion of your wrist you like to wear your watch. Make sure the tape is touching your bare skin without gaps all the way around but not tight as to indent or squeeze the skin. Good rule of thumb you can say is to measure at the same comfortable tension you wear your watch now. Once you have measured the bare wrist, add 1/4" to that measurement, this is what you select from the dropdown menu. Raw bare skin wrist circumference measurement + 1/4"= Band Size.
For UNIVERSAL FIT, follow the sizing instructions in the listing description (same as above).
If I don't read the items description or shipping details, or ordering instructions and therefore don't include them at checkout, will you be able to read my mind or correctly guess what options I prefer?
Nope, if you don't include all the information as described in the ordering instructions, your order will sit in my queue and be skipped over until you answer my constant request messages for the missing information/request specifics. I will not begin your band until you have specifically specified to me what it is your heart desires.

The standard models: Cobra, Trilobite, Cobra w/Stripe, and Fishtail come with the silver metal adjustable shackle. You can select from the dropdown menu and INCLUDE IN THE CHECKOUT NOTES if you would like the locking plastic buckle instead. You may also upgrade to the heavy duty all black stainless steel heavy duty adjustable shackle for $6.00, option in the dropdown menu.
The Premium models: GunnyHEX, GunnyX, GunnyBite, GunnyTrilx, GunnyTac, GunnyRex and GunnyTrax come standard with a heavy duty all black stainless steel adjustable shackle. OR you can include in the NOTES AT CHECKOUT if you would rather the locking plastic buckle.
If you would like the popular "Cobra Buckle" email first and we will arrange the additional invoice for the added chare as we don't typically stock them. They are cool though......

The locking plastic buckle is not adjustable and if you like to wear a tighter then average watch it maybe uncomfortable depending on activity, body hydration, water retention of your body from day to day. The shackles will have about a 1/2" worth of adjustment over 3 settings for comfort.
If I haven't measured my wrist can I guess what size I am and you'll still be able to make a custom band that exactly fits my wrist perfectly?
No. No. Super No. Don't guess 7.5" and then say its too small and when I ask you to return it for a replacement and include a second confirmation wrist measurement send me 8.5"..... No kidding it will be too small. Actually measure your actual wrist and include the actual size at checkout. ***NOTE: This is not to discourage impulse buying or late night irresponsible spending... In that case, go ahead and guess. Just include the correct size later in a message once you sober up enough to use a tape measure properly***
I've read all the item descriptions, details, specifications, and FAQ and I still have questions. Should I just blindly order or give up?

I found a paracord design on the interwebs you don't offer in your listings I really really like. Do you take requests?
I'm always up for trying something new. I've done lots of different designs, some work really well on a short two piece band. Some look horrible or don't work. Send me a message and we'll see if its realistic. It may take longer but if I agree I'll never charge more than the premium bands unless it requires 3rd party hardware of some kind.

There is no warehouse of shelves stocked with ready to ship bands in every possible color scheme. EVERY band is made to order from scratch to the buyers individual hopes and dreams.
I understand you are a former United States Marine, but your Wife and business partner is not and only human, thus still fallible. If there is a problem or mistake with my order will you work to fix her rare discrepancy?
Yes, just send us a message and we will correct anything she messed up, and I definitely did not, on those very rare occasions. You may be charged a fee for exchange if for example, you send us a request for a 7.5" band in the order details and then complain that it's too small when you receive it. When we ask you to re-measure your wrist you request a 8.75" band.... obviously your grossly incompetent and should have your parent or guardian help use the tape measure....... OR YOU GUESSED. There is a cost for time, supplies, and shipping. We can work with the mistakes, recklessness will not be tolerated and will be adjudicated with extreme prejudice. To avoid punishment: MEASURE CAREFULLY!!
Additionally, if anyone informs Mrs. Gunny of what is written in the FAQ page, don't expect to see your order this decade....

Glad you asked: No. We are typically in the shop working on orders during the day. We typically check the email in the morning and in the evening. Setting down the paracord to pick up the time-suck that is the internet, tends to derail any momentum gained throughout the day. But please send a message I'll respond as soon as I see it. Remember when sending late night messages, I can't respond before I wake up. If you are the kind of person that likes to email around mid-night and again around 7am to whine that it's "been hours and no one replied"......Don't. I don't like sitting on a full inbox, we'll get to you.
Why are your bands a little more expensive then others I've seen? Because they work and they look Gooood. Quality takes time and I won't send it out if I don't like the way it came out, even to an especially annoying customer, Mrs. Gunny is very clear on that. Quality takes more time, even if I have to throw it away and start over. The idea is that you won't have to budget for and buy another crummy factory or after market band every 6 months to a year. Every watch I advertise for I actually have or it's equivalent, so fit and feel is spot on.... And these watches aren't cheap! I didn't invent the styles but I only offer the styles that hold up to abuse, fit the best, and look clean and slick.
If I didn't include all the required specifics in my order at checkout and ignore your messages requesting the information, should I be surprised if my order is eventually cancelled and refunded?
I can't help but be enthralled with your amazing work and craftsmanship. But I have a watch that is not mentioned in any of your listings. Should I just order from a random existing listing from your shop and sneak in a mention of a completely different model in the notes at checkout?
No. If you have a watch that is not listed in MY shop, message me before purchasing and I will check to make sure if it is possible.
Universal Fit, are now available. If you want a band for a watch that is not available make sure you evaluate to ensure your watch's case attachments are large enough for the paracord thickness (+/- 1.7mm) and are of a reasonably obvious geometry to work with our bands. Simple suggestion, use your eyes first. Evaluate your attaching points and evaluate our pictures. Don't be afraid to use a ruler or other measurement device. Finally, ask questions!!!! Send pictures of your watch!
You sound at times gruff and prickly. Are you easy to work with and approachable with questions and concerns?
No, I will poke fun at you if you make a mistake in ordering or forget to include information. But I stand by my product and take every order seriously. I only want satisfied customers making all of their friends jealous to the point of ordering one for themselves, thus driving more sales. With my Wife cracking the whip I get every order out as soon as possible and answer every question the same way.
I would like to place an order today. Can I have delivered by tomorrow?
No, each band is made custom every time, specifically, after an order is placed. I have a career and family, Mrs. Gunny slaves away full time for the business and each watch band takes time to make from scratch. We try to get orders completed and shipped in 3 to 9 weeks or sometimes less. Some times we have 20 pending orders sometimes we have 60. We have set shop work hours and work to complete as many as possible per day in that time. We complete them in the order they are received with complete info. It can take up to 9 weeks, though rare.
New priority shipping guarantees processing (time from order to shipped) time will be 7-10 days or less. Just add your watch band order to the cart and then add the "priority handling" upgrade from the listings to the cart and checkout together.
What does priority shipping get me?
If you have a circumstance where you need an order shipped in under 10 days or are impatient and have disposable income, select priority shipping and include your deadline in notes at checkout and we'll work 'overtime' to get you what you need within reason. Give a good sob story and I may put it in the priority queue because I'm really squishy on the inside, my wife may complete it by the next day with tears in her eyes, but it will be mailed in average 7-10 days.
We'll call it the "Saso" rule: you will trust in the miracle of interwebs and the power that lies within. Ask questions through email, select your band, pay your money, get an auto-confirmation reply in receipt of said transaction, and then you will sit back and wait for the 3-9 weeks to pass for the product to appear in your mail box as if by magic. If you are the type that feels compelled to send daily emails or even one simply to confirm, "did you get my order" "can you send me a picture of it before you mail it" "hey bud, no pressure, just checking on when I might expect it" "is it done yet" "is it done yet" "is it done yet"..... I may and have just ignored them, skip it for the next one on the list as punishment, or just fire you with no warning. If you got a confirmation that your money is now mine then I have received your order and placed you in queue, AND WILL GET TO IT AS SOON AS IT BECOMES YOUR TURN!!!
Most Gshock watches have a 16mm spring bar that attaches the band. Our proprietary design adapters will fit "most" of the GShocks made. HOWEVER, a large chunk of the newer popular Gshocks have individual goofy attachment methods that will not work with our adapters. Some of them have 3rd party adapters that I have found that work great. Some are close enough to my adapter per piece cost and there fore I include them with the band at no charge. Some however are x4 to 5 times the cost and in those cases we will contact you and if you want those adapters we work out a separate invoice. Good rule of thumb again here is to email and ask questions before ordering.
